When Shanu, an American-born woman who lost her parents in an accident, plans to live with her aunt in London, an unexpected detour takes her to her grandfather’s home in Bengaluru. Immersed in the unfamiliar world of her mother’s ancestral roots, Shanu faces questions of identity, belonging, and family. Her grandfather (Ajo), hesitant at first, discovers echoes of his late daughter in Shanu.
Will Shanu return to London or find purpose and belonging in her mother’s homeland? Together, Shanu and Ajo embark on a journey of healing and rediscovery.
